When we awoke this morning, we were thankful that we
could be lazy and had no concerns about packing up our stuff and getting back
out on the road. Before we checked out of our hotel, we took a 1.3 walk and
found a geocache across the highway. We need to exercise every day and this is
a fun way to do it.
Besides seeing green grass and trees with leaves, there
are flowers blooming. We had a very short winter!!
It was a short drive to Crown Colony where our condo is
located. We found the view from our lanai…
is very similar to
the one we had last year—just no golfers playing through.
We also found it was much more fun to unpack our clothes
here rather than on the road at a Hotel.
We made a quick dash out to the store to get enough food
to eat the rest of the day and tomorrow morning. Then we dashed back just in
time to start watching the Bowl games on TV.
We had a couple of rain showers this afternoon, but they
are much different when the temperature is 80 °.
Tomorrow, we will need to go shopping again to stock up
on groceries for a while. And so this first day of 2014 ended with a beautiful
sunset.
