“Rainy days and Mondays always get me
down.” But wait, this rainy day is not Monday. We continue to have problems
remembering which day it is—a result of retirement.
We had a visit this morning from a great blue heron.
After breakfast, we took a walk
through the Crown Colony neighborhood. There are some beautiful homes besides
the condos in this development. It is interesting to see the varied ways people
have added to the landscaping and yard decorations to personalize their
property.
Shortly after we returned from our
walk, rain set in for most of the day. Cordell made good use of his free time.
We made another quick dash to the store and then settled in to watch the NFL playoff games. It certainly wasn’t as exciting without either the Redskins or the Ravens playing like they did last year.
