Sunday & Monday February 16th -17th - Welcome Old Friends.

Sunday:
There are no friends like OLD friends. Jim and Barb Hauser arrived after we returned from church today. And since all of us will be in our 70’s this year, we really are old friends! Their travel was delayed a couple of days due to the snow that had fallen at home and through the Carolinas.

We had a relaxing afternoon and in the evening we all settled back and watched the Olympics.

Monday:

Moon over Miami and moon over Crown Colony. We had a different view this morning when Cordell discovered a full moon the reflected in the lake.

Barb and I spent some time working on a geocache puzzle that requires us to identify 34 different birds.

We had this date empty on our calendar of geocache finds. Since we had to run out to the store, we took the opportunity to introduce Jim and Barb to geocaching. We chose some easy sites and found the caches quickly.

The temperature was warm enough this afternoon for us to eat our lunch outside.

Late afternoon, we spent a couple of hours at the swimming pool. Barb and Jim swam laps while Cordell and I were less active. I have a farmer’s tan and I am not even a farmer.

We had a late dinner and spent the rest of the evening watching the Olympics again.
