It was another early morning for us—even the teenager,
Janelle, did not get to sleep in. We enjoyed spending this past week with Andy,
Corinne and Janelle but all good things must come to an end and they had an
early flight out of the airport here in Fort Myers. They were not looking
forward to returning to winter weather in Maryland.
It always feels good to me to be back home, but it is even
better to get back home after winter is over. I am glad that we did not have to
return home with our family today. We spent a couple hours at the swimming pool
during the midafternoon. I was a bit surprised to see only seven people in a
pool that was built to accommodate 40.
It sure was quiet around our condo tonight. We
enjoyed watching the Olympics until time for bed.
I kneeeeew they would be SO SAD to go! Such a shame. Now we're looking toward maybe a BIG storm Wednesday night into Thursday. We'll SEE about that! I don't trust those weathermen as far as I could throw 'em! In a couple more weeks I'll be able to throw 'em farther!
ReplyDeleteWe've been enjoying the Olympics too! Well... I enjoy them the most. Dennis only enjoys them until I send him to bed for snoring! I'll miss part of them tonight because I'll be at Bible study. First things first!
