There was a lot of wind blowing all the day and it seemed
like March wind to me. It sounds very different blowing through the palm
branches.
I spent a good part of the morning preparing a birthday gift
for the mail and addressing Valentines to my granddaughters and a birthday card
to my prayer partner. I just can’t seem to keep track of the days and my
Valentines are going to be received late. This area has several small places
called post offices, but none of the employees are dressed in a uniform. It
looks more like a store that ships parcels, etc. but they also have post office
boxes and postal supplies. Most of them are located within a shopping mall. The
one we found today was inside a building named The Atrium. There were various
offices inside and looked like a really nice place to work.
When we stopped at the grocery store, I saw a car with a tag
from Alaska.
The grocery cart corral has a sign encouraging shoppers to
return their carts and it seems to be working because I did not see carts
scattered all over the parking lot.
We did not spend much time outside today, but still were
glad we were not coping with the snowfall that our family and friends have
received.
