Thursday, March 27th – FGCU Tour

It was another cloudy morning here, but the temperature was a pleasant 75°. We went to the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University to look for some caches that we have been wanting to visit since last year. There are over 14,000 students enrolled at this 760 acre campus. The first commencement was held in May 1998, with 81 graduates. The grounds are very beautiful as can be expected for this part of the country.

We saw students walking around in shorts and sandals. As with most colleges, parking was not easy to find during the weekdays. After we found two caches, we decided to wait and look for the rest of the caches on a weekend when not so many people are around.
